Jemma and Zara (1st Pair)

Zara and I had a very successful fixture, only losing 1 of 8 matches. Our positioning really improved over the fixture and towards the end we were really applying what we have learnt recently in practice. We really enjoyed having the opportunity to play against such a range of standards and we look forward to next year's tournament.

Amelie and Jolie (2nd Pair)

In today's triangular I think Amelie and I performed really well, overall we won 7 out of the 8 matches. And beat some of the pair which we lost in the previous match, especially 21-9 is a pretty good result against their pair 2. Against DH first pair we lost 21-15 but we had really good rally and did some good shot as well, but from this we have to improve our positioning and calling for shots.

Evie and Ava (3rd Pair)

Ava and I agreed that we played very well in this triangular especially against St. Mary’s Calne. We won 3 matches against St. Mary’s Calne and none against Downe House ,however, I think we were really good with positioning and making sure we were covering every area. Although I think next time we really need to improve on staying calm and not making stupid mistakes. Overall, I was pleased with how we both played together considering it was Ava’s first match and she played very well.

Posy, Sadie and Charlotte (4th Pair)

Today, I played my first fixture in a triangular match with two other people which I alternated with between each match. I thought we played well, but I think our communication and positioning on the court could have been much better. I look forward to playing more badminton matches in the future.
